During a January 2020 commencement ceremony, Simpson University awarded diplomas to 130 students, including 22 traditional undergraduate students, who completed their degrees during the fall 2019 semester.

Three students were recently inducted into Alpha-Omicron-Xi, the Simpson University chapter of Phi Alpha Theta, a national honor society in history. To be eligible for Phi Alpha Theta, a student must complete a minimum of 12 semester hours (4 courses) in history, achieve a minimum GPA of 3.1 in history courses, and an overall GPA of 3.0 or better.

Eight Simpson University students were inducted into Alpha Chi, a national honor society. To qualify for Alpha Chi, a student must receive an invitation from a faculty member and reside in the top 10 percent of juniors, seniors, and graduate students at his or her college or university.
