Three students were recently inducted into Alpha-Omicron-Xi, the Simpson University chapter of Phi Alpha Theta, a national honor society in history. To be eligible for Phi Alpha Theta, a student must complete a minimum of 12 semester hours (4 courses) in history, achieve a minimum GPA of 3.1 in history courses, and an overall GPA of 3.0 or better.

Simpson University welcomed 12 new inductees into its Honor Society of Nursing in spring 2020. The class of 2020 honorees includes students from the four-year Bachelor of Science in Nursing program who comprise the top third of their graduating class.

To be eligible for Psi Chi, a student must have a major or minor in psychology, at least a 3.0 GPA in his or her psychology courses, and fall within the top 35 percent of his or her class in general scholarship.
