Simpson University's Paris Hallums Earns Multiple Softball Honors

Simpson University softball player Paris Hallums was honored with several accomplishments during the 2016 season.

Paris Hallums of Rescue, Calif., was recognized for the following by the California Pacific Conference:

• Pitcher of the Year
• All-Conference Team

Hallums was voted Pitcher of the Year, for the third consecutive year. This season Hallums was 7-1 in Cal Pac action (16-1 overall), tossing six shut-outs and striking out 86 in 63 innings. She posted a 0.33 earned run average and allowed just 29 hits while walking 19.

Hallums' major is business administration.
