Simpson University's Derek Ross Named Recipient of 2017 President's Cup Award

Simpson University's Derek Ross of Grass Valley, CA, has been named recipient of the 2017 President's Cup.

Ross earned a degree in Communication.

The President's Cup is given to a graduating senior who has made the highest all-around contribution to the life of Simpson University during the student's tenure at the university.

Ross served as student body president, is leading a WorldSERVE mission team to Taiwan this summer, and participated in the American Studies Program, interning at the nonprofit ONE Campaign in Washington, D.C., among many other Simpson activities.
