Kayla Holland Serves on Missions Trip to the Domincan Republic

Kayla Holland traveled to the Domincan Republic this summer as a team member on a Simpson University WorldSERVE team. Holland is from Redwood Valley, CA. Holland's major is Biology and Spanish.

Partnering with local churches, the Dominican Republic team helped pastors set up their churches for ministry. The team worked in local coffee shops to teach English, did sports outreach, and met the practical needs of others.

More than 100 Simpson University students on 14 WorldSERVE teams traveled around the world in spring and summer 2014 to provide service to different communities. To be eligible for the WorldSERVE program, a student must go through an interview process and be chosen for a specific team.
