Alyssa Gordon Named Scholar-Athlete at Simpson University

Alyssa Gordon of Redding, Calif., received a Scholar-Athlete Award from Simpson University.

Gordon participated on Simpson University's Women's Soccer team and maintained a GPA of 3.5 or higher during 2016-2017. Gordon's major is psychology.

To qualify as a scholar-athlete, a student must be nominated by an institution's head coach and maintain a minimum grade-point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.
